I can’t help remember that the Evil King didn’t want his daughter there…
If she’s eaten by her grandmother, it’s win-win for him; he doesn’t have to put up with his child anymore, and his mum’s had a big meal and won’t need feeding so soon. o_o;
Not to mention the king gets who knows how much time to pay up his alimony. If memory serves me correctly which it might not, that WAS her objective when she came here.
I think he may have turned himself into a lich after having been married and having reproduced. Maybe he wasn’t happy in the marriage, and he wanted to use the ’til death do you part’-section of his vows as a loophole.
Clearly, his wife was no fool and got the courts to see this as a divorce, giving her the rights to half his estate and regular alimony payments. ^^

This brings up a few questions:
– Why didn’t she question her fathers legitamecy?
– If the king IS the father, how does a skeleton reproduce?
Excellent questions! I have one too. How can he talks without lungs? 😉
Maybe an even better question: How does he do expressions without muscles? (I’m pretty sure bones can’t move that way by themselfs.)
Oh That easy! He had lot of practice! 🙂
