    Isn’t that a medusa…?

Meh… also, at least in US English (I confess, I don’t know if it’s the same Across The Pond) it’s “gorgon” — emphasis on first syllable, no trailing “e”. (Nobody cares, even me…!)

Weeell… it depends… If we go to the origins of the story, then there is no such thing that “a” medusa…
In anchient Greek mythology there were three sisters, with sneaks for hair, and they were the three gorgons. One of them was Medusa.

In modern fantasy on the other hand, sneak-haired women usually called medusas, and gorgons are bull-like creatures, both with the ability to turn you stone… I blame Dungeons & Dragons and Heroes of Might and Magic for the confusion…

I’ll check with Mom when she’s up… she’s thoroughly steeped in classical languages and the myth and literature that often go along with them. She should know.

Clarity: I’m not judging your comment. I just want to be sure that wherever *I* come down, is correct. “Trust, but verify…” 😉

There was no update for a while… I hope it’s only because of some kind of time-shortage, or creative block, not something more… serious… Do we have to worry? I hope we don’t have to worry.

Henbe has a busy life. I haven’t heard any news out of Quebec (IIRC Henbe is French Canadian, rather than living in actual France — but that is from memory, could someone double-check and correct me if I am wrong, plz?), particularly regarding, er, certain currently-global health events, but I suppose anything *is* possible.

That said, I’m going to assume he’s fine until I hear otherwise. I’d rather think he was just busy… 😉

Hi, Henbe is fine. Just saw him last week. I live in Montreal.

With all that is happening all over the world: job losses, pandemia panic, no toilet paper! etc. It might be hard to concentrate. Myself, now it hard to get back the creative juices going on.

Hope that Dramzzey will make me some…
    Take care…
